Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Earlier, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, from Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.

It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
